I’m so glad you’re here! <\/strong><\/p>\n

I’m Ann, and you should know that I like to go deep right away. So, here are five things that make my heart beat fast: the love of Christ, my dynamite husband, my precious kiddos, the written word, and laughing together around the table. I catch glimpses of heaven in these things every day–the kindest gifts the Lord has given to me.<\/p>\n

Professionally, I’m a writer and teacher. My\u00a0first book,\u00a0Still Waiting<\/em><\/a>,\u00a0released in April of 2017, and I’ve got a second coming out in early 2022 (…still working on that title!).\u00a0 I\u00a0write in a lot of places online and in print<\/a>, and I love the power of the written word to draw us to Christ and to encourage us as we walk through both the\u00a0beautiful and challenging parts of life.<\/p>\n

I actually love words so much that I’ve gotten a handful of degrees in the writing field. I hold a Master of Fine Arts degree in Creative Writing from Seattle Pacific University as well as a Master of Arts in Writing from DePaul University. Even my undergrad degree, from Wheaton College, was in writing (hey, at least I’m consistent!). I discovered, as a perpetual student, that I\u00a0love<\/em>\u00a0the classroom, and so I went on to teach as a college instructor for five years at my undergraduate alma mater.<\/p>\n

Teaching writing is a dream job for me, and now, I teach Christian writing classes online and coach like-hearted writers through my business,\u00a0Writing with Grace<\/a>. I’m passionate about helping others strengthen and sharpen their writing in their own journeys of walking with Christ! If you’re a fellow writer, I’d love to have you join me\u00a0there<\/a>.<\/p>\n
